Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran RADEC berbantuan video animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, sementara uji homogenitas varians memastikan bahwa varians antar kelompok homogen. Uji-t berpasangan mengkonfirmasi adanya perbedaan signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test, dengan nilai t = -15,903 dan signifikansi 0.000 < 0,05. Nilai N Gain 0,75 yang dapat diklasifikasikan meningkat dengan kategori tinggi dari intervensi ini. Model RADEC, dengan tahapan Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, dan Create, terbukti efektif dalam mendorong pembelajaran aktif, meningkatkan pemahaman materi, dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Integrasi video animasi dalam model RADEC juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memotivasi siswa dan membantu mereka memahami konsep yang kompleks. Penelitian ini menambah bukti empiris mengenai efektivitas model RADEC berbantuan video animasi dan memberikan rekomendasi bagi penerapan pendekatan ini dalam konteks pendidikan dasar.
